Located about six miles across the Ouachita River in West Monroe from the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Conference Center Monroe is the Ike Hamilton Exposition Center. Getting there is easy. From the hotel, simply take Interstate-20 west towards Shreveport to exit 114, LA-617 / Thomas Road and go to your left for about two blocks over Interstate-20. Turn right at Downing Pines and the Expo Center will be in front of you.

The Ike Hamilton Exposition Center is a livestock-type events center which opened in August of 2001. While the center is primarily for livestock events it is host to many events such as team roping, cuttings, team penning, boer goats, monster trucks, bull riding, paint horses, Brangus cows, Tennessee Walking horses, rodeo and much more. New events this year include the Cotton Stakes Cutting, Chianina Cow show, a Clinton Anderson clinic, and a Beefmaster Sale.
